The Brief
Systemiq approached us to design this important synthesis report, with the aim of strengthening the understanding and support for a complementary approach between mechanical and molecular PET recycling in a circular economy for packaging and textiles. A mix of text, quotes, pictures and data-driven graphics, the whitepaper had to appeal to EU policy influencers, including industry associations, consumer brands and finance leaders.
Fully branded the report was to be part of a series and would be accompanied by social media assets.
The Solution
Working alongside the Communications Lead, we created initial templates and suggested some styling, imagery and typography options. Having worked together to find a chosen style, we flowed the content into the report, recreating numerous exhibits to help explain difficult processes in an easy to follow way. Through constant communication, we were able to complete the report to the client's deadline, and to achieve a design that achieved their brief and we could both be proud of.
In addition to the English report, we created a French translation of the executive summary to satisfy Systemiq's global audience.
