One of the Big Four accounting firms, EY is a trusted voice on all financial and governance matters. With a stated purpose of Building a better working world, EY provides deep insight from in-depth data analysis to allow organisations to create value and markets to function properly.
As part of their annual review of Annual Reports and Accounts (ARAs), EY focuses on new reporting regulations, providing advice and support to companies affected by the changes.
The brief
We were asked to create digital and printed versions of this report, based around the theme of Section 172(1) statements, which requires large companies to describe how directors have had regard to the matters set out in Section 172(1)(a)-(f) of the Companies Act 2006.
The solution
Utilising the brand's yellow, and black corporate colours, to create a striking document. Enhanced with pictures of colourful architecture, the report provided advice in easy-to-digest sections, making use of bulleted lists, callouts and engaging layouts to create a document that is informative and easy to read.
