GSK is a multinational pharmaceutical and biotechnology company headquartered in London, UK. The tenth largest pharma company in the world, GSK is ranked number 294 on the 2022 Fortune Global 500.
With a stated purpose to unite science, technology and talent to get ahead of disease together, GSK aims to positively impact the health of 2.5 billion people by the end of 2030. Fully inclusive in the way they operate, the company is proud to promote a culture where 'outstanding people can thrive'.
The brief
The multinational pharmaceutical company approached JDJ to design and produce an inclusion and diversity (I&D) toolkit to distribute amongst its internal teams. As a large employer, getting this important approach right was a non-negotiable for the company, making this toolkit an important document for their internal teams and the communities in which they operate.
Created to sum up the key facts about the company’s I&D position and responsibilities, the document is part of the company’s long-term focus on respect and inclusivity within the organisation.
The solution
Working closely with the Global Head of Inclusion and Diversity and Global Inclusion and Diversity Manager, we created an internal toolkit that looks great and is packed full of links to other resources in the GSK catalogue.
Working within the organisation’s strict guidelines, we were able to push the brand boundaries of what was possible, whilst remaining sympathetic to GSK’s corporate identity. By combining a bold colour scheme and inspirational imagery, we could bring the document to life. Using infographics and graphs allowed us to distil data in a visually appealing way.
In doing so, the document speaks to all stakeholders, as well as transcending the constraints of a traditional business report.
To maximise its effectiveness, the digital toolkit is interactive with a great experience for the end-user. Internal links mean information within the document can be easily found, while external links lead to further reading on the key topics.
We’re delighted to have contributed to this project, and with the finished look of the toolkit, which we believe will inspire readers at all levels of the organisation.
